Pressed flower art by Angie Windheim with cream-colored hellebores appearing to drift as if in a day dream.

Day Dreaming | Framed 24x30" print | $200

An archival reproduction print of a claimed original pressed flower artwork. The cream and green hellebore appear to wander like the mind does in a day dream. The blooms are surrounded by a diverse selection of foliage, moss, and flowers. You'll find love-in-a-mist, sweetshrub, buttercups, cherry blossoms, oak leaf hydrangea and more. White hellebore are often associated with protection and warding off evil, as well as rebirth and new beginnings. Made-to-order prints are available in 11x14, 16x20, and 24x30" on Etsy.

"Come Together" is a pressed plant collage by Angie Windheim featuring a swirl of lichen and plants appearing to be drawn to it.

Come Together | Framed 24x30" print | $200

An archival reproduction print of a claimed original pressed flower artwork. The lichen at the center is surrounded by a diverse selection of local flowers, ferns, and foliage that thrive in the Pacific Northwest like sword and maidenhair fern, two forms of lichen, coral bell leaves, hydrangea flowers, sage leaves, heavenly bamboo, and more. Lichen is a powerful symbol of reciprocity, blurring the lines between individual and community. Its central role in the art piece is to show the interconnectedness of all living beings. Made-to-order prints in 11x14, 16x20, and 24x30" are available on Etsy.

Garden Party | Framed 22x28" original | $400

An original pressed flower artwork. The plant material was collected at my homestead in Sherwood, Oregon. My intention was to show off the deep purple of the clematis and hellebore (winter rose) with an array of vibrant "party" colors to welcome spring. You'll find primrose, geum, forsythia, buttercup, pansy, Columbine, bleeding heart, and much more tucked into the piece.  Made-to-order prints in 11x14, 16x20, and 24x30" are available on Etsy.

The Path | Framed 11x14" original | $125

This piece cuts a starry path sweet woodruff leaves surrounded by Mexican orange blossoms. Other botanicals include deep blue vinca, sweet peas, hardy geranium, Queen Anne's lace and more treasure all found in Sherwood. Made-to-order, unframed archival prints are also available on Etsy.

A Winter's Nap| Framed 11x14" print | $125

In "A Winter's Nap" the bright winter-blooming King Crimson camellia is at its heart. A  path of bright zinnia petals meander around it. You will also see sage, hydrangea, mint, fern, hardy fuchsia, a white daisy and more in the piece. Made-to-order, unframed prints are available on Etsy.

Blue River | Framed 11x14" original | $125

"Blue River" showcases my favorite blue flowers in a cascade like a waterfall through the art. Yellow daisies, magenta zinnias, blue hydrangea, and much more fill the frame. The flowers were collected and traditionally slow-pressed in Sherwood. Made-to-order, unframed archival prints are also available on Etsy.

Root to Rise | Framed 11x14" original | $125

This piece was inspired by the famous yoga teacher, Adrienne Mishler who frequently says the phrase "root to rise." The bright yellow Celandine is said to mean "joy to come" which is why the flowers appear to flow upward to that starry light. You will find an array of botanicals including pink heather, camellia, chamomile, pineapple lily, fern, hellebore, and more. Made-to-order, unframed  prints are also available on Etsy.
